the great housing debate, my story..., page-83

    when I did some research on the US over a year or more ago....they have thousands of what they call cities...population around 100k to 300 k....
    thats about the same as a glorified regional in australia....yet most of you would never consider going rural here in OZ.....
    I have to wonder why the cashed up asians have not been buying up big over there ???? sure I heard they were doing the busloads with the buyers.....but it obviously has not had the affect, or boosted the prices...maybe, just maybe, they did their money too....

    why are the Indians and Chinese flocking to Aus and buying up houses here, and not flocking to the US for the cheaper houses????
    I read a good article recently....someone suggested the US should demolish most of those houses, and start over again....like the cash for old cars thing they did last year....
    in the US they built an extra million or so houses, that are still lying vacant, or turned into squatters quarters...
    but good luck anyway...
    ps I think the US is a basket case....no matter where you look
