I think people are still missing the point on house prices. They seem to look at the median price of property and thing its to high without looking any closer.
The big rises in property has mainly been in the 15km radus from the city.

I think this is overvalued however there is plenty of property in Australia that is still cheap and grown relitively steady. You can still buy property for under 200k in Australia in major regional cities.
