I’m sorry Hairy - this Chinese virus is not just the flu.
3 months ago my relatives OS caught it.
I understand it is highly contagious - much worse than the flu.
The younger ones - circa 30 it was similar to the flu and had varying unpleasant symptoms. My Aunt (age 60) said it was like the flu but she couldn’t smell or taste anything for 3+ weeks. He husband (age 70) had lack of energy + awful headaches - he still has them 3 months later. A normal flu goes away once people recover from it. He is still struggling - no energy and headaches.
From what I understand this is a really nasty virus. More than the flu which is also nasty.
