just be aware that they are legal tender at their 50c face value.
you are going to want much more than 50c when you sell or barter them. So the legal tender aspect is irrelevant.
another thing to know: any coin with the image of a British Royal stamped on it can be resumed by the “Crown” , presumably at face value. You and I are allowed to toil to acquire them and exchange them for goods and services, but ultimately they are the property of the British Crown.
This also applies to similarly marked gold and silver coins minted by the Perth Mint .
That is in British law, and you can bet it applies here as well.
Not saying they will do it, but they can.
