Nothing like petrol prices to bring out the uninformed. 42+ cents from every litre goes straight to the Federal government- yet here in this thread, who do we target?
Oil companies have the same reason to exist as every other company on the planet: to maximise their profits.
They're a business. not a charity, giving away free energy out of the goodness of their hearts. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Pretty simple I would have thought. Or you could jump on an internet forum for yet another pointless piss and moan about it.
