Scotland just banned fracking.
The Scottish Parliament on Wednesday voted narrowly to support an outright ban on hydraulic fracturing in Scotland, making permanent a moratorium on the controversial extraction technique
And it seems the democrats will impose harsh conditions if elected. Will be interesting to see where things go. These sort of changes will take longer before they start to affect the developing world but one day when they are lifted out of poverty, they will.
