The choice of Norman Green looks like a winner!

EXT certainly appears serious about building a mine IMO.

Check out the website! GTI has a very impressive track record!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GTI boasts a wide range of expertise in the following fields:

    • Detailed financial modelling
    • Process flowsheet development
    • Pilot/training plant design, construction and operation
    • Metallurgical simulations and material and heat balances
    • Capital and operating budget development
    • Project planning from engineering/procurement through construction to hand-over
    • Selection criteria and contract development necessary to engage an EPCM contractor
    • Contract development and ongoing liaison with technology suppliers
    • Major utility (i.e. power, water) long-term contract development with various government utilities
    • IT development from control and instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, plant-wide networks, through to business management systems, including remote diagnostics for efficient troubleshooting and maintenance
    • Mining lease agreements with relevant authorities
    • Drilling programme management
    • Environmental impact assessment
    • Permitting requirements
    • Development of Project Labour Agreements for industrial harmony on large projects
    • Development of operational training manuals

Once the project owner/owners hand over the reins to GTI, the team operates under one roof with the selected EPCM contractor or study contractor. The team manages and checks all aspects of the EPCM’s endeavours and ensures decisions are made promptly. Reports are regularly submitted to the owner/owners and liaison with necessary government departments and specialist consultants (technology suppliers, environmentalists, etc) are dealt with efficiently.

GTI is proud of its 100% success rate. All projects tackled have been completed within budget and schedule and, most importantly, all of them are now efficient operations. (my bold). The team represents a “one-stop” technology and management solution and looks at projects from the owner’s perspective, taking into account a multitude of aspects complementary to the scope of the conventional, multi-disciplinary engineering contractors.

Over the years, the team has built up an impressive number of specialist contacts which enables them to cover every aspect of a project thoroughly and efficiently. GTI is also well versed in the field of environmental management and subscribes to the principles of sustainable development.
