Understand. The idea being floated by the Greens and others(which I suspect might be a ruse) to relocate the mill to Hampshire/Burnie, is that an option? I understand you are passionate about the mill but I am trying to see if there is a compromise possible and a way to get this thing done. I tend to agree that a mill at Bell Bay wouldnt be a big environmental issue but it seems so much political capital has been invested by the Greens that they couldnt back down now even if they get what they want with respect to Native Forests. And also given their greater power at the federal level.
My question is would GNS consider a shift of the site especially if they got a nice big payout from the government for giving up the rights to native forest logging and an extra payment to help with the relocation of the pulp mill?
