What about the carbon side of it the CO2 saving ??


Has anyone taken a look at that side of it ??


Alreco process uses 95% less energy it will reduce CO2 output by approximately 2.945 tonnes of CO2 PER TONNE OF METAL.

The Alrcoa landfill alone has about 16,000-32,000 tonnes of waste metal in it, RESULTING IN A SAVING OF BETWEEN 47,000 and 94,000 TONES OF CO2 FROM EMISSION.



I'm sure that both Alcoa and SSC could use this saving of CO2 emission, they want to be seen to be green by all and what better way to do it with the help from us (MHM)



Also it will lower the cost of making aluminum, recycling will also save money for both of them, as that's where it will all count the bottom line in the cost of making AL.
