Hi Rod, if you want to look at the big picture in 2009 worldwide there was 19 million tons of recycled aluminium produced. This is projected to grow to 31 million tons by 2020 (only 9 years away). On the basis of 1/2 ton of salt slag produced per ton of recycled alum. that means the world production of salt slag was 9.5 million tons in 2009 - meaning US only a/cs for approx. 10.5% of world production - this will grow to 15.5million tons in 2020.
Its Marketing 101 to look at (a) the size of the global mkt and (b) the annual growth rate of that market to determine whether your product portfolio is well positioned. On this basis the MHM's future looks so bright I need shades!
