I hold both STU and BPT - and I like 'em both, for different reasons.

I think I like STU for the same reasons that you do - good at finding good oil deposits. And worrior 1 does look like a sizeable Cooper Basin discovery, although we will have to wait for confirmation on that score.

In the case of BPT, so far management has been ultra conservative. It has had a string of succesfull, though smallish target oil discoveries in the Cooper basin which have turned out to be highly profitable for the company. BPT's cash flow and profits have grown expotentially. I guess it's a case of the "small fish are sweet syndrome" - especially if you have enough of them.

I like BPT's ongoing exploration programme in the Cooper - they have some prime acreage and it's only a matter of time until they make a "worrior" type (or better) discovery.

I hope both companies do really well. As I said, I like them both - for different reasons.
