Oh dear the poor triggered left don't like anyone critical of anything they deem, off limits - funny tho, a lot of gay people aren't actually going down the identity politics road anymore. As weird as a concept, as it may be to some, there are increasing numbers of conservative gay folk (soz, cant use the alphabet acronym anymore, its been hijacked by leftist politics to falsely infer all people of a certain persuasion, all think the same way)

Milo Yiannopoulos, Douglas Murray are but two more higher profile gay people that are conservative. And they or any other gay person who is conservative, doesn't mind any other person's opinion, or their right to free speech, to be used to be critical of being gay - they're not that bothered or offended. Who cares if the OP wants to voice his/her opinion regarding Mardi Gras - go for it, its great, that is free speech.

The leftist establishment, are loathing the fact, that the new cool, counter culture, is conservatism. It's actually okay to express an opinion regarding Mardi Gras, and not liking it - who knew, the new nannys of society, constantly moaning and being offended by everything would actually end up being those once, so rad, lefty, politically correct punk rockers of liberalisation. Even gay people don't want anything to do with the politically hijacking, opportunistic agenda anymore.

Speak your mind humpy - go for it, and loathe Mardi Gras all you like - its great having diversity of opinions
