Hi Golden, I did enjoy The Hundred year Old Man...good recommendation.

In turn I'd like to suggest people read any of the novels by Robert Harris. In particular I liked his Roman trilogy, Imperium, Pompeii and Lustrum. Two of them concentrate on Cicero. You just can't put them down. His latest novel is based on the Dreyfus affair. I haven't read it yet but reviews suggest it's his best yet. That's really saying something!
