One of my all time favourites is Sidney Sheldon's "If Tomorrow Comes"
Oldie, but goldie, and has an assortment of content, (some shocking bits at start, but 40-70's can take that!) but it's fun, fast flowing and a fabulous story. I have always enjoyed Sidney Sheldon books.
