Russ, I don't know if that's Andy talking through you, or Dave Marino, or Steve Bubulj, but I think whoever it is they've likely been drinking a bit too much of Andy's wine...
Because it sounds like someone is trying to say that Andy Hopkins did NOT make a horrific mistake in signing a contract revision in April 2020 that changed the $400 mil. Captial Smart contract from an annual price review with protections against adverse selection (which they bragged about in the deal presentation) into a 3-year fixed price deal with no such protections. Please tell me that's not what you're being told?
If not just due to sheer idiocy, then why else did that happen? What possible justification could there be for that? Why did Andy agree to that? And why did no one tell shareholders the details until 2 years later? AMA paid $400 MILLION to Suncorp, our JV partner in CapitalSmart. AMA was supposed to get an annuity-like stream of cash flow for 20 years from that. W...T...F... happened???!!!!
