The heavy sells occur some time after an ann is released to market as I said .. If you read back I have stated often everyday shares are churned (The definition of churning is relatively simple: a day or week of little price progress despite strong volume.) So the same company can buy and sell all day long and use them for trading there will always be vulnerable retailers willing to sell ..There are other reasons for this practice..ie some accumulation, and of course brokerage fees are minimal or even zero ....
Churning sometimes occurs with a relatively long price range, as the stock spikes up, only to give up most of its gain by the end of the day or week.
This is also known as stalling.
Here’s the reasoning behind that:
High volume means a lot of activity among institutional investors is taking place. But sellers can’t demand a higher price, so the stock goes nowhere.
In some cases, the stock will close with a loss after spiking higher..................... Simple answer is hang in there ...V
