MFG is risky right now. We simply do not know how the cookie will crumble. Keyperson risk is real...Mr Douglas must be under tremendous psycholocical strain. I don't see Sell/Buy as black and white. I would focus on managing the risk here and use a grey decision strategy.
Options:
1. Sell some consistent with your entire portfolio so that your overall risk is contained.
2. Sell all. Brokerage is so cheap now. Sell sit on the sidelines with a close eye on the share price. Many strategies are available that help you to detect a change in the trend. When you have become attuned to the price movements in a stock you will notice even without technicals that the trend is reversing. Sure, it costs brokerage and you may miss the first 5 to 10% of the price reversal but look at that as the cost for a lower risk investment.
Personally, I will watch closely and buy when the trend reverses. Support is around $20 and I will be interested when $36.90 is traded again.
Good luck all. Oh...I think this is my first post
