I am not sure you are using the correct figures in reaching your assessment. This is from last weeks 10k (Appendix F Page 3)
Although revenue declined by about 15% Gross Profit was up very significantly. So service was profitable and substantially more so than 2022.
Lab Testing Gross Profit -
2023 A$ 608k
2022 A$ 146K
They also note that 69% of the revenue was accounted for in 2H 2023. So on a run rate basis this would show a higher revenue number than FY 2022.
