(They have a You Tube film of the Laboratory, showing a man and a woman - the man shows you round, the woman pipettes at a bench. Lots of empty fridges etc. Staff of two. To me, shocking. This is not a viable laboratory).

So you have a Loss because you are buying fridges, etc. Then this expenditure stops, so Costs decrease. That is what you are seeing.
But the Revenue from attracting services has not improved.
So you do have a profit - this half year. However, I am not seeing an increase in Service being provided. Correct me if I'm wrong.
