Are you able to choose to be convinced in something that is highly unlikely to be true? Can you choose to believe in the reality of the Greek gods? Can you choose to believe the earth is flat?
It's a matter of evidence, not choice. You became convinced by JW.org's teachings for reasons other than choice or evidence. Conviction is a process, not something you switch on or off through an act of will.
