I think the thread " iggnorance of the common man " could well be tied to the thread " The fight is lost " .


Because if you are to believe that this future in inevitable .. Why would you do anything other than talk about football ? .. You'd be taking a few years off and heading for the beach / golf / whatever turns you on ..

There would be little point in being educated , imformed ..capable of great debate . What would be the point ?

The risk is of course , that you are like the guy with termanel cancer , 6 months to live ..When you get your all clear you dont know whether to laugh or cry .
