KJB - Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Nothing is explained intrinsically in this wording.

If God is invisible then the only possible likeness is in spiritual form and the alignment of purpose.

As for the - firstborn of every creature: Nothing comes from absolute nothingness and one aspect of the likeness of Christ to that of God is that the nature of spiritual essence which is without beginning and therefore preceded physical Creation. This being the moment when some catalyst of events led to the physical universe and the evolution of both matter, universal structures and orders and life.

As for Son of God. This signifies the station of Christ in that His message was only a prelude to, or a sonship or part message of a complete message that would be forthcoming. It also implies that we are all sons and daughters of God, not that Jesus was an actual son of anybody physically other than His biological parents. Though spiritually we are made in the image of God, that being attached to a spiritual essence uniquely our own.

Trinitarians have their take which wrong or right is about one of the least important points of teaching in the Jewish/ Christian belief system. There is an encyclopedic list of errors in the understanding and interpretation of the line of Judeo/Christian/Islamic religion. It's futile to point one out.
