Yes - the 'liquidity' and 'transparency' and 'purpose' and 'how' suit the top end of the supposed 'level playing field that we are all supposed to enjoy equally' - ie the BEOT.
We, the retail Mums and Dads investors derive little or no such benefits as we have no access to the processes - HFT, Bots, et al that facilitate short selling manipulative practices.
And the bottom line is that the connections between the powers that be to police the practices and the BEOT that utilise them to their unfair advantage are blurred and somewhat self serving IMO.
Anyhow - as a long-term PLS retail investor I shall ultimately benefit the inevitable good fundamentals of this company irrespective of any short term shenanigans. It would be different if I wished to sell on a day when the SP is being held back for purposes of accumulation by the privileged whoevers!
