This is a very misleading post, implying that GMC is or would be taking manganese from these 'traditional miners'. From my understanding GMC has a lot of respect for the people of Indonesia and has been working closely with the local community to improve their lives. To me this looks more like the illegal operations that Hamish talked about in his recent interview, and why he welcomed the review. Also stated in the interview was that they had done their due diligence and was looking at purchasing a mine - these people look like individuals prospecting and not employed miners by a legitimate business.

And in answer to your question, yes there should be a mine in NTT.
