Im not a conspiracy theorist at all, but it seems like something is brewing here. If I'm not mistaken Alex said in a previous briefing to "watch this space" and that Rox's nickel reserves don't get much attention.
He's now taken the opportunity presented by technical difficulties to clearly sidestep the Mt Fisher progress in its entirety and avoid giving their nickel reserves any attention. It seems like a convenient excuse not to put his foot into anything untoward. He could very easily have issued a 10 second summary, such as drilling going well there, expecting results, etc, but he didn't.
As you say it could be because the focus is on the Jorc and one thing at a time, but wouldn't an offtake deal for nickel make their gold operations flush with cash?
Then again, why release a price sensitive news release on a Friday afternoon post trading.
