I’m speculating that this program will focus on some of their most promising manganese assets.
With recent acquisitions boosting their portfolio, this drilling plan will be a timely move to capitalize on the impressive mineralization already recorded, particularly at the Sica and Samalari prospects. When released this news will signal Estrella’s commitment to advancing exploration, and Reconfirming the abundance of Mn through Assay's
One of the key areas that I anticipate will receive significant attention is the northern tip of the Sica Prospect. With manganese recordings reaching up to 56%, Sica’s potential is impressive, and its location, just 20km from port access, only strengthens its feasibility for future operations. This accessibility could substantially lower the transport and logistical costs once extraction begins, streamlining the path from discovery to revenue.
The Samalari Prospect is another target I expect Estrella to focus on with this drilling campaign. Recent reports indicate 1.7km of near-surface outcropping manganese oxides along a strike of up to 6m in width, which points to both a sizable resource and cost-effective mining potential. Manganese is a critical mineral, with demand driven by its essential role in steelmaking and battery production, and Estrella’s timely focus on near-surface, easy-to-access deposits positions them well to capitalize on these growing markets.
The company’s approach to funding has been both proactive and strategic. The $350,000 secured from MJ Ratta Investments, along with an additional $1.25 million from sophisticated investors (Both issued at a premium to the share price on the day), underscores strong backing and confidence from knowledgeable players. This funding is set to fast-track the initial stages of drilling and exploration. The $5 million option held by MJ Ratta at 2 cents per share for up to 250 million shares is a notable vote of confidence. This capital infusion could very well act as a launchpad, putting both Estrella and Timor-Leste firmly on the map as significant manganese suppliers.
To add to that, WHA Holdings, the world’s largest manganese exporter, has taken a close look at these assets. Their involvement in any capacity speaks volumes; companies of that scale don’t engage in resources without recognizing serious potential.I’ll be accumulating on any dips. Estrella Resources’ vision and strategy are clear, and the pieces are aligning for what could be a transformative journey in the manganese sector.
