In a small bid to help this stock find an sp that reflects the underlying business, I thought I'd just update the stats from AusTender and also listings on the company web-site.
One month on from first post on this thread, AusTender now showing $4.64m of contracts this half (i.e. since 1 July), so another $450k of contracts this half. Web-site showing 61 jobs listed (I think was about 53 when I first checked - they seem to update on a Friday).
Probably slowing a bit as they go into Christmas, as not the time to hire except for relief staff.
Off the AusTender work alone, I would have estimated about $250k NPAT this half, but will likely be revenue from other sources with that, so seems fairly promising. Tracking for $600k FY NPAT excluding investment gains seems realistic. For comparison, at the 4cps bid, the market cap is $1.24m and at the 6.5cps offered, about $2.02m. Cash in bank $535k at last report. Based on $800k EBIT, forward EV/EBIT of 0.88 - 1.85 depending if bid or offer is used.
Would be interesting to know what their listed investments are, as difficult to make a judgement as to whether they will book gains there.
