    Because for manufacturers, it simply means their products would become more expensive. They naturally weigh the cost-benefit ratio of integrating a new technology like Brainchip. It’s not just about slapping it into a device .. it costs money. Not just the chip itself, but also the redesign, certification, support, and so on.For a company, that often means: if a toaster suddenly costs twice as much, fewer people will buy it.
    So you sell fewer units, but at higher production costs … which can end up reducing your overall profit.As investors, we tend to oversimplify things … “just integrate it and off we go!” … but reality doesn’t work like that. It’s always about whether the added cost actually pays off.But hey… what do I know ¯\(ツ)/¯
