'' Good luck with your Co2 inspired crop yields when the insect plagues come to town''
the subject of insects - or the lack of them comes up here fairly regularly - always to do with windscreens.
The 60 plus year olds here often talk about day driving - driving the full day and having to clean the screen of dead bugs when they were young --
now, you can drive for a week in the countryside - and not clean the windscreen once
perhaps rather than insect plagues - we might get the opposite
What is noticeable where I am is that entire crops are disappearing - too dry in some areas, too much water needed and other crops are being planted.
Corn - many farmers getting out of it. You also see failed corn crops - left dry, brown, immature, unpicked -------- just abandoned
farmers ditching corn and going to wheat or barley
of course - the wine industry is changing dramatically - old vines being ripped out and new varieties going in. Also new places that have never grown grapes are taking them up. It's a very large change
