if you look at a pot of water that is heating up - before it boils - what do you see?
you see the water is doing different things in different parts of the pot - - one part might have little gas bubbles forming - only a tiny percentage
you see water swirling about
and the world is not much different ------------ now you want to ask, Where exactly is the world heating ?
what an odd question ------------ would it not be rather obvious to take an average?
is it not clear that the planet has different seasons in different locations, it has land temps, air temps, ocean temps
it has an ever changing set of conditions -------------- so surely it's clear that an average would be the wise course to take -
and even on your little graph - over such a short time - do you fail to notice that the redline is above the green line???????? I thought that pretty bloody obvious as well
