Inside Trader has PETSEC as it´s pick of the week - Every now and then you find a stock that appears to continually have good news yet the price keeps falling.Often, if the news is true, the market will see that it is seriously undervalued and the price will adjust accordingly - sometimes very quickly. Petsec Energy appears to be one of these stocks.We have picked it in recent times on reasonable assumptions yet gravity kept taking its toll on the share price. Just recently though, there appears to be good support forming with good trading volumes. The chairman was upbeat about the prospects of the company at their recent AGM and you can read his thoughts or listen to his speech in our Boardroom radio section.On the broker side, there are 2 brokers with a strong buy recommendation on it and have not changed their view over the last 8 months.If you want a speculative stock that appears overdue for a move, then this could be it. Remember your stop losses though, we´ve been caught before.
