I like what you've tried to do here....a few things

Short Cover Buys, Short Sales, Margin Call Sales & Stop Loss Sales are all type of buys and sells that both Insto and Retail investors can do.

The set up of your first equation is wrong as you are potentially double counting buys and sells.

In any case what I think you are trying to say is that in order for insto's to accumulate, then retail holders must be net sellers.

Since you are inferring that based on a dropping share price, leaks to the media and doomsayers on HC this must mean that insto's are accumulating, can we also infer that this is the case for all other stocks that have dropping share prices, leaks to the media and doomsayers?

Or is it just SGH where this is happening?
