It is not as silly as you think.. the MEO PF could be trying to force CUE's hand in negotiations over Catarina. By proposing a stand alone LNG project for Artemis, they could be calling CUE's bluff into forcing them into a JV with the MEO farminee for Catarina on less acceptable terms than other possible suitors, as that may be the only way the PF may allow the facility to be used for Catarina Gas should it and Artemis both be successful (very unlikely admittedly.
