Not really gdbeech. Its only right the the focus is on those in power. All the Opposition Leader can do is oppose govt measures. They don't actually have power to do do anything.
Shorten is probably doing better than expected. He demolished Abbott and it was thought that against Turnbull he would be found wanting. However, Turnbull’s internal problems and the numbers have made it easy for Shorten and he has Labor in the same strong position that prevailed just before Abbott was outed.
