    I've never quite got my head around how their option to withdraw from a case (which from memory they mention in their presentations), works in practice, especially if the case proceeds to its later stages. If they give notice to withdraw do they escape all future liability in that case or do they have some sort of limited exposure to potential future adverse events? Maybe need a lawyer to give an opinion on the case-by-case documentation...

    Agree, I think the risk is very low, especially for US-funded cases because of the "American Rule" in the US legal system.
