    Sorry I thought we were talking about black holes?

    Most of the funding for the NBN does NOT appear in the budget. It's "creative accounting" to not classify it as an expense but as an investment expected to generate a modest return.

    So take about 8 billion out of the budget and hide it as an asset for the future.

    Let's add that to the 140b in deficits and the 300b credit card limit, which will probably be maxed out by the end of the year.

    After 5 years I think I'll give they other guys a try.
