Do the people in power really want the USD to fall in the immediate term?
The majority of high powered public servants in the USA still believe that they can plough their way out of their current economic mailse via agressive monetary policy, and a rising equities market...
... and they know that they have zero chance of achieving this in an environment of a falling dollar, where a direct consequence would be the mass exodus of capital o/s.
