Gina Reinhardt sitting on $11 billion, Twiggy battling at half that amount, our South African CEO of BHP and Albanese of RIO all wonderful advocates of egalitarianism.
What was the government's Achilles heel will be its greatest strength. They won't win a vote in WA but that was lost anyway. They will win a lot of support elsewhere if they choose to highlight this issue.
It's a shame the tax wasn't properly structured and explained from day 1 but what do you expect from Wayne Swan really?
