A couple of point re FAN and possible 4th well. This is much more likely to be Soleil or Sirius IMO because they are relatively low hanging fruit compared to FAN.
1. Fan resource potential has been documented by FAR's and CNE's various public releases. To promote any other assessment is unsubstantiated and fanciful. There was no update to FAN resource potential in the recent RISC assessment ASX release. Given the very low net reservoir the FAN discovery still must have significant/major risk associated with it, particularly the commerciality of the reservoir.
2. A key difference between Jubilee and Fan is that the Jubilee reservoir is a channel complex and much better quality as a result, while FAN is a fan which is not as favourable reservoir generally speaking. The Cretaceous fan reservoirs on the West African margin have been notoriously difficult.
FAN will see more drilling, but there appears to be easier/better targets ahead in the queue.
