I think we can assume two things. The management of IVX have not been idle on the deal front for the last twelve months. At least the top four are professionals who have done it before and know what has to be done. There will be a number of negotiations on foot before the current merchant bank appointment. We can also assume that the New York bankers were appointed because of their reputation and expertise in this specific field. They will be working as hard as possible in a short time frame to get the best deal possible to earn the highest fee possible. Whatever the outcome it will not suffer from lack of effort and experience.
