Unfortunately, it will be another couple of election cycles I fear in WA.

WA voters gave McGowan far too much kudos for his Covid restrictions, which btw, were appropriate during unprecedented, once in a lifetime unknown circumstances, However, the damage to the Libs was over the top and it now seems that people are disliking the subsequent Cook govt for it's many mistakes and cost blow-outs.

Therefore, it may be that WA will be last to the party of change for the better as the Libs and their Coalition partners take back the States. NT now, QLD soon then the others to follow, for the better.
