The WA voters certainly did give the McClowwn way to much kudos for his overextension in the Rona era but the vast majority of people were gullible and naive.
The idea that they were being fed bumpkin by politicians was not the issue as everyone should know that anything a politician says, should be taken with a grain of salt.

The problem was early on that the vast majority didn’t understand how our Chief Medical Officer was full of crap and only parroting the Fear Porn that would support the narrative.

Trust has been eroded over the last few years in the medical profession (as it should be, given what is now accepted as facts) and the Clown has gone to his high paying job with that mining company.
Cook has eroded the credibility of WA labor to some extent and Albo’s Mob has done some damage as well.

I agree that the damage may not be critical enough for the Lib’s to get back in on the next cycle but it “could” be a bit closer than our left leaning friends will want to admit.

The Liberal party will still have to lift their game (over here) as they have been lazy and incompetent for too long and they can’t rely on the voters hating the other side more than them to regain power.
