Not the coalition version it will be the greens/labor version. Imo only best analogy I can think of it will be like a chicken (the energy retailers/coal mines ) trying to negotiate with a fox (the greens/labor) not to eat it. For me this is a major threat because all know the greens want the fossil industry shut down even if it provides $100b pa in revenue give or take. ps by memory it was NHC that said demand is so great they have to turn down new export customers.. Only in Australia and now the US would we have a policy to not increase coal production to supply russian export coal customers. At least this is the way I understand it. ps imo only such a policy controlling energy retailers and their suppliers will send energy prices hypersonic so if labor gets in i'm out of NHC which for me will be a shame for reasons previously posted.
