My local shopping strip has 5 Asian restaraunts and every single one has a sign on the shop window.. "Cash only, no cards"
A Malyasian friend in the hospitality industry says one of the reasons new Asian arrivals to the country buy up so much property is so they can get straight into small business and avoid paying tax. (banks like lending against property for small business)
From the market gardens to the restaurant door.. Very little tax being paid.
