Agree. That population miscount reveals the paucity of skills when policy settings bring about that degree of miscalculation.
Apparently, DA dreamed up that underground rail project, and did not consult with the appropriate and well resourced group formed to assess such ideas. Just went straight ahead and announced it. DA took an Arts degree at Monash University, so I supposed that makes him an expert, lol, lol.
Oh, that's right. He is anxious to die a happy man with a railway line to his name and a massive overspend of the budget. Sheesh.
Interestingly, we now have figures revealing GDP growth rather than GDP per head which should be the focus but nuh, it would too revealing and critical of the massive increase in our population. Little wonder Melbourne is no longer the "most livable city".
