I am a long term investor equally appalled at a string of broken promises. What you are saying is that if you believe you are not confident with a share and can afford to keep it , stick with it thanks to your extensive business experience. Sorry just does not wash with me with possibly equal or more experience. The decision made to quit was based on the ability to do better elsewhere and a lack of confidence which has led to a massive dilution of shares and market value.
Business experience tells you not to tell the market something is due when you are not sure you can deliver.
