    The planet is running low on juice, not increasing. Oil wont be around for very long at the rate we are burning it. As Ian said before the feed we have been getting from the 70's are near their life span. You need to keep in mind that flow rates drop on a yearly basis from 8 - 16%.

    Why do you think the Chinese are building 52 mammoth size Oil tanks?
    So they can stockpile as much as they can.

    Between them and the U.S. are the largest users of Oil and with population growth expolding and companys expecting to boost revenues, Oil supplies will constantly be under pressure to meet demands. The problem is discoveries are getting smaller, the planet is starting to look a 'pin cushion' with all holes drilled in it.

    I know U.S. need more Oil and can never get enough of it, but somehow invading a country and blowing it up! to get their stock of oil doesnt seem to be a great idea in my books. Dont know if you noticed but rebuilding countries is not cheap for a bucket of black gold!

    IMHO desperate times calls for desperate measures.
    Thats the message I get from the U.S.
