But eagle, the polls show Abbott miles in front of Turnbull, so why would they "be pondering whether the changes they have made to their leadership group was the right move"? If they are rapidly heading in the right direction as Rudd is rapidly heading south, why on earth would they question getting rid of the dead wood Turnbull who obviously does not resonate with voter at all? It just does not make any sense IMHO.
