TS must be asking for too much. It's pretty hopeless to suspend trading for a week without any announcement regarding the delays or progress, especially when every time someone asks him they're "only one or two days away".

any reasonable offer should be put to the shareholders to decide, not the decision of directors alone. How many companies have rejected high offers recently, only to be miss the opportunity and then get a much lower bid thrown back at them a few months later?

this is not the environment for playing hard to get, no matter how big your ego.
