As much as I have enjoyed John Stossel's commentary over the years, I find no redeeming value and few solid facts in his two-article anti-EV rant. I sincerely hope that he does not speak for the majority and further that he does not exacerbate the situation by supporting the concept of electrification as being a political dividing line.

IMHO, it is of great national import to America to be a leader, not a whiny Luddite. If the Democrats so toxify the effort with attacks on Big Oil and stupid give-aways, obviously the Republicans have to respond, but they must do it without also adopting an anti-Green stance.

Both articles feature underwhelming research as well as half-truths and bias.

The electrification of transportation is taking place at the same time as the roll-out of renewable energy and at a similar pace. It's a win-win that we need to get behind.

Comments about "the rich" and the cost of EVs show a lack of insight and foresight as mikaj pointed out. Completely agree.

The rest seems to be tone deaf and out of step with the global race to Green competency.
